Sitting with Grief: Finding Strength in Stillness and Sorrow

The thing about grief is it is constant. It is there. It is unnerving and when you’re running from it. Numbing it down. It will chase you, it will come back tenfold because you didn’t deal with it. You have to. You have to face that life is happening because you are it.The life that you are living is important because of you. You make it matter by being you.

You’re sad about a loved one that passed? What does a loved one make you feel, see, belong that it seems that losing them is losing a part of you?

You’re sad about an opportunity that doesn’t go through? It can show you things that are needed to improve, improvise to fit in the life that is for you. Find it.  Ask

Be patient, but deal with it. Do not wait.

Things that are wonderful usually take time, things that are worth it usually take foraging and forging through.

Just work to be better, give to others. Be present and be kind.

What I learn about things is what is around you, is a mirror, a window or a door. The things around you is you. What you feel, what you see, what you experience. It will all come back to you.

That’s a good thing. Because it gives essence. It can give you control to be able to let go and let it be.

So experience it. Sit with it cause believe me or not, the only way through is in.
